Can ic show up on a ultrasound scan?

No: The two primary diagnostic tests for ic are cystoscopy with hydrodistention and possible biopsy and parsons's test. A bladder ultrasound may be abnormal or normal but it is not a definitive diagnostic test for ic. There are some physicians who would also argue about the validity of the parson's test.
