How does hiv affect your body's tolerance to alcohol?

HIV: Hiv infection by itself should not interfere in any way with tolerance to alcohol. Many patients with HIV disease also have hepatitis b and c, and the damage done to the liver through this and other HIV associated illnesses may affect the tolerance to alcohol.
