HIV Risks: Nope. Yes, HIV can be killed or immobilized by air, alcohol wipes and time. Hiv infection happens with acute exposure to infected semen or blood that is directly introduced to your insides or your blood stream. It is not very contagious on it's own out in the light of day.

Probably not: Don't think the virus can survive on earrings. Not sure about the alcohol wipe, but it couldn't hurt.
