Yes, panic attacks: Are sudden, intense, usually brief anxiety attacks & may occur unpredictably. The best treatment is cognitive/behavioral therapy and relaxation training, perhaps with biofeedback training -- www.Bcia.Org or www.Aapb.Org. Anxiety & panic attacks are very treatable.

Anxiety episodes: Good news - if your anxiety lasts only seconds, it is probably not a panic attack. Pa is from release of adrenaline, which lasts about 10-15 mins.

Panic: By definition, you are likely not experiencing panic attacks, but you may have transient anxiety. Try to focus on your thoughts before, during, and after and see if there is any relationship between them and how you feel.
