No: Nothing can replace actually flossing your teeth. The floss gets in between the crevices of your teeth and really cleans most of your mouth, while nothing else can do the same.

Ask your dentist...: Obviously you have a good relationship with your dentist in that you participate in regular dental cleaning, therefore the most logical person to answer this question is your local dentist. However, I am not aware of any suitable substitute that is as effective as dental flossing. Certainly mouthwashes could provide respectable results with diligent use, but do not provide the traction of flossing.

Thanks for asking!: There is no replacement for dental floss. Mouthwashes are helpful but do not replace the function of the floss. The floss removes the plaque and the food debri from areas the toothbrush can not access. If no flossing is done it could lead to caries in between your teeth and gingivitis.

Sorry you must floss: There are places between your teeth and beneath the gum cuff that can only be reach with dental floss. By disturbing the bacterial plaque colony with floss you allow the saliva to flow in and neutralize the acid and toxins that bacteria produce as a part of their life cycle. Mouth wash is not enough. http://www.drneilmcleod.com/procedures/cleanings-prevention/plaque-control/.

try softpicks: If you don't like flossing your teeth softpicks from butler are the next best thing (and maybe better in some areas). I love them and they are easy to use.

Nope: No way that any rinse will effective get between the teeth unless the contacts are larger than usual. Need to get used to using. Possibly purchase some type of flossing device/gadget which may help motivate you.
