Correct Diet: Nope. It is the opposite of a correct diet. The goal is to eat less sugars and carbohydrates. The perfect diet is a low calorie (say 1200 to 1500 calories/day) 60% of the calories should be proteins. 25% carbohydrates and 15% fat calories.

No: When you go on a diet, make sure you have a balanced meal of carbs, protein and fat. Also make sure that any diet you choose, you can do for the rest of your life. One of my endocrinology mentors have advocated South Beach Diet especially for diabetes.
