May be a pinguecula: This is a benign growth on the white of your eye. It can sometimes become red and irritated from wind and sun. See your ophthalmologist for options and eye drops to try.

Normal tissue: In the nasal corner of each eye is a fold of tissue called the caruncle. It often appears yellow due to underlying fat. This tissue is normal. The tear ducts are in the eyelids, and if they are blocked, the swelling is in the skin between the eyelids and the nose.
