Maybe lupus: Interstitial lung disease would have likely shown up on your cxr and / or ct scan. It's probably not that. You mention you have lupus. Remember that the manifestation of this are many and include lung problems like pleurisy. I'd make sure that there were no anemia too and that medicines weren't causing this. Talk with your doctors! don't suffer in silence but be your own health advocate!
