Depends on infxn: This depends on the infection and where it is at. If it is anywhere near the craniotomy site, needs to be closely monitored and on antibiotics. Monitor for increasing fatigue, confusion or memory issues, changes in strength or sensation, and any visual changes. Any signs suggesting neuro infxn above, get to er immediately. Stay in close contact with your neurologist/neurosurgeon.
