I had a decompressive craniotomy and my skull was stored in the subcutaneous pocket about 3.5 months ago. is the subcutaneous pocket feel warmer to the touch than the other side? i was worried about infections to the skull flap?

Blood flow to the skull flap (which is the intent) and mild inflammation can cause warmth. Concern for infection is greater if there is also redness, tenderness or swelling. Either way, for sure check this out with the doctor managing your care for this. Good luck.
