Six months ago i had a viral infection (mono) and my neck lymph nodes had swollen and after got shrink but i still feeling a pea-sized, movable and soft lump under my jawline, with no growing in size. Is this normal? Can this stay forever?
Can lymph nodes stay enlarged due to past Infection such as mono after the Infection has passed? I have feelable lymph nodes which haven't changed and there pea sized. I'm also very slim and my nodes are movabl in my neck, groin and jaw?

My dr did not explain any of this, means viral infection? Wbc10.7, rbc5.11, neut 87%, lymph7%, neut abs 9.4, lymph abs .8, all others norm. Mailed w/o explanations, just curious if normal. Mono neg.
In had EVB and mono around October 2019 and lymph nodes on my neck. I dont know their sizes. By December lymph nodes were still there and I saw a doctor who says they take 6 months to clear. Do I wait or go check that its not lymphoma?
