Knee Abscess: This depends on location of abscess, extent of surgery, how it effects the activity of the knee, and any other medical problems that you may have. I could be very helpful or not necessary depending on those conditions. If you physician has determined that you would benefit from physical therapy these variables have been considered. If you think it would be helpful discuss with your surgeon.
