A member asked:

3 plus white cells in urine and ca125 elevated related?

3 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

Probably not but...: Here is a possibility; ca125 ( a bad screening test for ovarian cancer due to its lack of specificity) can become elevated with any inflammatory condition of the peritoneal lining of the abdomen. If the WBC in the urine reflect a UTI or infection of the kidney then it is possible the ca125 could be elevated.

No : How high is your ca 125 and why you have it tested any way in the first place. This test is not a screening test for cancer. If you do have ovarian cancer-then it may be helpful to see response to treatment. White blood cell in urine indicates either you have urinary tract infection or other inflammation/kidney problem.T hey are not related. Go to see your md and d/w more detail with your md.
