To a degree: Back pain can be related to the ergonomics of your computer use. Do you have good posture, is the computer screen at eye level, are your hands comfortable, is your chair appropriately adjusted? Eye issues under the title of "computer vision syndrome" are mostly due to dryness (keep a bottle lubricating eyedrops handy) and fatigue - limit the time, take breaks and avoid glare.

Computer use and eye: Though not moving much may contribute to back stiffness and constant attention to the computer may result in fewer blinks and subsequent dryness and irritation, the computer itself does not significantly impact eye health. Taking the time to blink and relax the eyes will allow minimal fatigue. no relationship to macular degeneration.
