Computer screen eyes: Yes. When staring at a computer screen for a long time, we tend to blink less. Blinking helps clear irritants from the eye.

No: The two issues are not related, but using the computer for long periods of time sometimes leads to dry eyes which can cause redness. Try to keep up every 45 minutes or so and walk around and put over the counter artificial tears in each eye.
