Median nerve: On the palm side of your hand, your median nerve provides sensation and some motor strength. This is the nerve that is pinched in carpal tunnel syndrome. If you are having problems with tingling and numbness, then you may want to be evaluated by your physician to confirm your diagnosis and obtain treatment.
