See your doctor: It is unclear whether this is nerve related or tendon/joint related. You need to supply more info and have the hand examined to know how to proceed.

Hand Pain: Any compression or injury to the nerves that supply the wrist and medial digits, such as a bone spur, fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, or a myriad of other causes, could be responsible. If the pain is only intermittent, the differential list gets even longer. It is best to consult a neurologist of orthopedist to have a thorough evaluation. Wile you're waiting for your appointment, if you can.
