I have very minor twitching at base of left thumb (when i move the thumb closer to my index finger, it trembles a little). i jammed said thumb 2+ years ago. i'm right handed. could that have caused this twitching? i have no known health issues.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It is possible that the trauma induced arthritis in the joint and that may be causing your symptoms. You may watch and wait, if the tremor worsens, or other muscles exhibit fasciculations, it would be prudent to see a neurologist.
