Good idea: I hear this from many patients after a variety of abdominal operations under general anesthesia. Seems to be self limiting, and may be due to the anesthesia and stress of surgery or some combination. If your running a fever, or even feel something is "not right", call your surgeon to find out for sure. Could also be a sign of infection. They'll take the call. Hope you feel better soon.
