Varies: This can vary from person to person. The issue is the placenta is growing but their is no baby. It can grow to 12 weeks before a miscarriage occurs because your body doesn't know the difference. The good news is this rarely if ever repeats itself. You'll get through this and will have won't have this happen again with a future pregnancy.
