Treat the cause: Why is your spleen big in the first place? If you have infectious mono or some other viral infection, it will go down on its own. If you have rheumatoid arthritis, a liver problem with portal hypertension, a storage disease or a hemoglobinopathy, you won't affect the underlying illness by trying to make your spleen smaller. Find what's happening ; stop looking for magic foods.
