Nutrients in Vegetables: There is no single best to answer to this question. It depends on which vegetable and which nutrients you're talking about. Generally vegetables pack the most nutrients when they are fresh, not overcooked, and not over boiled (for water-soluble nutrients). It is perfectly OK to eat vegetables and fruit at the same time. You will still absorb the nutrients from both. Enjoy!
