This is not the best: Time to try. Aim for ovulation and include a few days before and after for best results.

No.: The requirement to become pregnant is to have an egg present for the sperm to fertilize. As you know, humans do not lay eggs, but we produce them through the process of ovulation. Without ovulation, there is no egg and if there is no egg present to fertilize, one cannot become pregnant.

That would not be: An ideal time to try to become pregnant. However, if you don't wish to become pregnant use protection every time you have sex.

No: Once ovulation is over, you cannot get pregnant until you ovulate again. The egg must be fertilized (sperm present) at or immediately after the time the egg is released: if the egg is not fertilized within a matter of hours, it then deteriorates quickly. 8 days after ovulation would not get you pregnant.

Could you get pregnant 7 days before ovulating?

Not very likely: It is not very likely to get pregnant with having sex 7 days prior to ovulation. The reason why it is possible is that even with regular periods sometimes a woman will ovulate earlier or later than expected. And sperm can live in the cervix for up to 5 days. It is better to use an effective form of birth control and not assume you are safe.
