Ineffective healing: When scar builds up in a torn or ruptured tendon, it is often not quality strength and will reinjure easily. The body tried to heal the tendon, but microtraumas continue to happen, cause inflammation and scar not lined up in the long axis of the tendon. Best treatments are often use of undifferentiated cells plus platelet concentrates injected into the tendon to heal with tendon, not scarring.

Stretches and weaken: Normally, scar tissue is the important part of healing of mesenchymal tissues. As the scar tissue forms as a result of trauma(imicrohemorhage), or inflammation the tensile strength diminishes.Eventually the tendon may rupture.Scar tissue collagen is quite different from the collagen of the normal tendon. In scar they are arranged in disorderly fashion incontrast the collagen in tendoachilis is arrange.

Remodels: Tendinitis or inflammation of a tendon results in swelling of the adjacent tissues that are rubbed by the inflamed tendon. The tendon often develops swollen areas that are tender as well. These improve after the irritation is reduced by splinting or medication.
