May be wrong drug: Lexapro (escitalopram) is good for certain anxiety disorders in many patients, but not good for anxiety in all patients. Some patients may get more agitated on lexapro, (escitalopram) which can happen with any ssri. You sound like you are struggling with multiple stressors, so try tackling them in order of importance, not all at once, and consider seeing a psychiatrist who can help you cope and identify any useful medications.
