Probably not: Brain aneurysms usually present with sudden severe headaches described as the worst headache of your life. If this happens, this should prompt immediate medical attention. Headaches in the back of the head near the neck can be seen with cervicogenic headaches and tension headaches. If the pains are sharp and shooting, occipital neuralgia is also a consideration. Migraines can also start there.
