No: Too many calories can make you overweight. Bananas are calorie dense for fruit, but are no more likely to make you overweight than any other fruit or vegetable. A medium banana has about 100-150 calories.

No: Eating a banana a day is unlikely to make you fat as long as it's part of a healthy & balanced diet. But it's also a good idea to eat a varied diet w/lots of different fruits & vegetables, lean proteins, healthy oils, etc. Don't forget that regular exercise is also a must for good health & to maintain your weight.
