Ok: To use twice a week as long as you don't have any kidney problems, heart issues or electrolyte problems like low or high potassium levels etc.Do no use for more than one week.Follow instructions in package insert.Discuss with your doctor other safer , easier options like tablets , pills etc.

See your doctor: See your doctor. You may gain sufficient benefit from increased fiber and fluid in your diet so that enemas won't be needed. However, a complete history and physical is crucial to exclude other causes of constipation such as hypothyroidism or anatomic problems. Enemas do have potential complications: I have cared for patients with rectal perforation after enemas.
