Hemorrhoids: Swollen blood vessels. You constipation is probably a significant contributor. Please see your physician due to rectal bleeding. It is important not to make hemorrhoids worse. Cleaning off after a bowel movement should be gentle. Pre-moistened towlettes can be used to dab the anus. Don’t wipe/rub. Pat the anus dry after cleaning. Venous pressure: Hemorrhoids are very common, especially during pregnancy and after childbirth. They result from increased pressure in the veins of the anus. The pressure causes the veins to swell, making them painful, and prone to easily bleed. The most common cause is straining during bowel movements. Other causes are - constipation sitting for long periods anal infections.
