A member asked:

Early pregnancy higher pulse lower bp especially upon standing? i have pots wasn't sure if its acting up or if its pregnancy

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Both: Normal physiology: when you stand, your pulse should quicken by about 10-15 BPM and systolic BP should fall about 10 points. Diastolic pressure should remain constant or rise 5-10 points. When you're pregnant, your system is strained and may exaggerate the normal.
