Prevacid (lansoprazole): Prevacid (lansoprazole) is a proton-pump inhibitor and is used to treat acid reflux. The most common side effects include diarrhea, abdominal pain and headache. Less common symptoms include low magnesium, irregular heart beat, muscle spasms and even seizures. C. Difficile diarrhea is possible, too. This is usually a persistent diarrhea that is unrelenting. These should be evaluated and the medicine stopped.
