Prevacid (lansoprazole) cause low iron& make iron stores low. was fine till took prevacid (lansoprazole) 7 days, then iron bottom out & iron sat low as well. all was fine before.

Prevacid (lansoprazole): Prevacid (lansoprazole) may cause mineral malabsorption, but this would not occur in only 7 days. Your body has iron stores to make up for any decrease over this time. I suspect your iron was low beforehand and you may not have been made fully aware of that.
