Can you have a normal life after a 5250 in a psychiatric hospital?

Absolutely: But you have to address and work through the causes of that event. Whether it is a mental illness or a bad environment or an unfortunate cry for attention, to name only a few of the causes for a 5150, involuntary hospital hold, there is always a way to make things better and get your life together.

Normal: It depends on how you define normal. A "normal" person would be free of emotional distress, is functional at work, personal life, social life. Be a productive member of society. Normal is very relative term, some people may be happy living by themselves and do an average job be content and happy, while others may be super ambitious, want to make lots of money, want huge house, luxury cars etc.
