Can't get blood from: A stone. Somehow your queries (all) bring to mind lyrics of paul simon's "i am a rock, I am a stone, I am an island". As a person in apparent need, i believe that your right to effective treatment and care trumps all else - especially $. The hospital may need to do its' billing, that's part of their job. Your part is to try to find support. Please give it another chance. Okay?

Could be: It depends on the hospital. Some will still send bills, although they may not be able to collect.
