Depends: A voluntary admission to a psychiatric hospital may be indicated if you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or you are not able to function in your life. If you are ever on doubt you can always ask your psychiatrist or go to your local emergency room to be assessed. If you are in doubt it always ok to ask for help.
