PANDA syndrome: Panda stands for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcus, in which your child, after a strep throat, may be having hyperactivity, moodiness and blinking of his eyes. F your child does have strep throat on testing, it should be treated with antibiotics. Experts hypothesise that helping the brain recover with nutrients may reduce vulnerability to further damage.
