Flu shot unrelated: Getting the flu shot should not make your ocdor your tics worse. Pan das is a syndrome where your immune system overreacts to a protein on the outer part of the strep bacteria. Since similar proteins is found in certain sections of the central nervous system, they are also attacked by the antibodies to the strep bacteria. This is the underlying basis for pan das. The flu shot creates specific antibodies to the flu virus and completely unrelated to bacterial infection. Best wishes.

Anxiety: Remember that this is an anxiety issue. Your concerns about the flu shot are ocd related. If you are avoiding a flu shot because of anxiety then you should get it asap. You probably should also get it asap for medical reasons.
