Did your OCD & tics: Appear suddenly at age 11 with a strep infection & diminish in severity when you received antibiotics? See http://intramural.Nimh.Nih.Gov/pdn/web.Htm for details. I heard dr. Swedo from nimh present this in the 90's, but i've not seen translational research - i.e., genetic set-up for ts with streptococcal infection as a trigger for symptoms.
