I was diagnosed with tourettes at 11. i just read up on pandas... could i have gotten this from weekly strep infections resulting in tonsil removal?

Swedo from nimh present this in the 90's, but i've not seen translational research - i.e., genetic set-up for ts with streptococcal infection as a trigger for symptoms.
