Would a steroid shot help pain from bruised coccyx?

Other treatments: A bruised or fractured coccyx is a challenge. Steroids are not that helpful as it is trauma rather than inflammation. Sit on a donut- shaped pillow and stretch your hamstrings. If you can get Lidoderm patches, they may help if within 2-3 weeks of the injury.

Yes but: Yes an injection can help coccyx pain but it depends on how fresh the injury. Would not advise if it i recent as it can improve on its own. Better for an injection if it is chronic.
