Not after a week: You might see a little increase in heart rate and blood pressure after first missed dose, but after a week, any rebound should be gone--if numbers are up, it is because you should be on the medication.

Maybe: Older people that stop beta-blockers like Inderal (propranolol) can sometimes trigger a heart attack. A 31 year old woman is unlikely to do that. If it was being taken for migraines they'll be back. And you might have noticed an increased pulse rate and a little anxiety. You're probably not going to have withdrawal like you get after other drugs.
