Spider Veins: What you are describing is called telangiectasias or spider veins. I have attached the link to wikipedia for you. Typically benign, but a visit to a vascular specialist would help know what your options are in terms of further diagnosis, compression hose, elevation. Nothing to worry : About, but if you stand alot i would recommend compressive socks or hosiery.

Might be nothing: If you have a large number of spider veins around your inside ankles, these can be a sign of larger veins broken down deeper in your leg. An ultrasound with a vein specialist can tell for sure.
