May be acrocyanosis: Some of these symptoms match acrocyanosis, which is a physiologic way that blood can cause pooling. The edema is not related . Cannot say why your hands are splotchy . Your evaluation may help clarify your medical situation.

Red knuckles along with pain and mild swelling in index and middle fingers. Both hands. Joint pain in shoulders, knees, and feet with no redness.
Episodes of redness, burning sensation, numbness and vein swelling in my feet, ankles, and sometimes hands at night or when standing. The skin itself is not cracked or dry. Socks, shoes and hot shower makes worse. Elevating feet helps. Any ideas?
