Lots of things: But the most common cause for blood in the urine is called familia hematuria. In this condition blood always shows up in the urine life long after extensive work up but is totally harmless. Bloodwork is always normal. Hopefully this is the case but it sounds like you are in good hands and if it is something else they will figure it out and explain it to you.
