Not creatine: Hi. We don't measure creatine. I bet it was her creatinine that was 3, in which case they will prepare her for dialysis. Her kidneys are failing. High HDL is not associated with risk; do you mean high LDL? She needs a statin regardless...the cause of death in kidney failure is heart attack (as long as they don't quit going to dialysis). I'm sorry. Good luck to her.
