Is there a link between canker sores and strep throat?

The only: Link is that having any illness can be stressful and challenge your immune system, decrease your ability to rest, and this could have triggered the aphthous ulcers. Aphthous ulcers are not due to an infectious agent -viral fungal or bacterial.

Not related: Strep throat is a bacterial infection and canker sores are not infections. The exact cause of canker sores is not known but they happen when you are stressed, by trauma, vitamin deficiency or sensitivity to some chemicals.
