I am being treated for strep and on pill #5. my throat is already looking much better, except weirdly i have one almost like a canker sore look type lesion on the way back wall of my throat in the middle. what could this be from?

Possibly, bacteria is localizing. I would continue with the drug regimen, until complete. Then make a final observation. Seek attention if still problematic.

Probably due to the streptococcus bacteria. Should heal as you continue to take the full course ofnyour medication. If concerned, see your prescribing Physician.
