Strep throat: Strep does not cause open sores in the gums or back of the throat. You may either have an additional problem with viral infection or u could have two problems. Either way if the sores bother you see your doctor. You may benefit ether from an antiviral drug like Acyclovir or your doc may use a topical drug like silver nitrate to treat the sores.

Multiple symptoms: Because of the complexity of your symptoms it is imperative that you see your General Dentist or a specialist Periodontist for examination, diagnosis, and then treatment plan. Should you be worried, no. As to treatment, you need professional guidance.
