Not necessarily: It is more likely to be a fibroid or something benign. Uterine cancer typically starts on the lining of the uterus and can then grow into the muscle. But if the lining was not thick on the ultrasound, then the chance of cancer is smaller. A nodule within the wall/ muscle of the uterus is more likely a fibroid. Please follow up w your gyn.
