You can improve: I encourage use of words other than cure with respect to mental health (even many physical conditions) since so many are not on-off, yes-no experiences. That said, yes - there are successful treatments for ocd. There are drugs & ECT procedures that some find helpful for supporting serious efforts at mastering your symptoms through cognitive-behavioral skills. It takes courage & time. Best wishes!

Treated, yes.: Successfully treated, most likely yes. Cured, probably not. There is very little in general medicine or psychiatry that we can actually cure, meaning gone forever. With proper medication treatment and psychotherapy, the vast majority of patients with ocd can have their symptoms successfully treated in remission, and lead full, productive lives.

Give tx a try & find: Out!. Cognitive behavior therapy can be very beneficial for this. Psychotropic medication are often indicated as well. With less severe ocd there might be complete resolution but often one aims for decrease in symptoms & improvement in quality of life.
