Is the result from home blood sugar testing accurate?

It is close: It is not the same as a blood draw but rather an approximate number. I treat people, not numbers. If the patient acts like the sugar is too low i treat accordingly irregardles of what the the fingerstick reports.

Glucometer: Yes. These glucometers are pretty accurate if the test is done according to instructions.
